DO NOT take Generic Levitra Soft if you are already taking any of the following drugs: nitroglycerin-type drugs, such as amyl nitrite, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, nitroglycerin (even occasionally and including recreational drugs, which also contain amyl and butyl nitrate).
Generic Levitra may interact with other medications, especially: Alpha blockers such as alfuzosin (UroXatral), doxazosin (Cardura), prazosin (Minipress), tamsulosin (Flomax), or terazosin (Hytrin) used for high blood pressure or an enlarged prostat; arsenic trioxide; bosentan; clarithromycin, erythromycin, sparfloxacin, troleandomycin and other antybiotics; HIV and AIDS medications; carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital and other seizure medications; amiodarone, disopyramide, dofetilide, flecainide, ibutilide, quinidine, procainamide, propafenone, sotalol and other drugs for heart rhythm control; chloroquine; cisapride; diltiazem; fluconazole, itraconazole, ketoconazole, voriconazole and other anti-fungal medications; methadone; nicardipine; pentamidine; pimozid; rifabutin, rifampin, or rifapentine; samoxapine, maprotiline, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, nefazodone, pimozide, phenothiazines, tricyclic and other antidepressants; verapamil.
Notify your doctor of all medications you are using, including nutrition supplements and herbal products.
Tell your doctor if you are a heavy alcohol or caffeine user, if you smoke or use any illegal drugs, as they might interfere with the effectiveness of the medication.
