Mentax (Generic)

Generic Mentax is an antifungal cream that is made to heal fungal based infections on the skin. Generic Mentax works to eradicate fungi by weakening the fungal cell membrane that causes these infections. Generic Mentax is generally used to treat the most common forms of fungal infections, including: athlete's foot, joke itch, ringworm, and pityriasis. Generic Mentax may also be used to treat other conditions not listed here. Consult your doctor before taking Generic Mentax for either above mentioned conditions, or alternative uses.

Generic Mentax is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area before applying this cream. Gently massage Generic Mentax onto the infected area 1 - 2 times daily, or as needed. Thoroughly wash hands after application (unless the area being treated is on the hands). Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. Do not cover the treated area with a band aid or tight fitting clothing after applying this cream. Dosage of this medication may change during treatment depending on the severity of your condition and the progression of your illness.

Take Generic Mentax for the full time it is prescribed for, as suddenly halting treatment may worsen your condition. Contact your doctor for the precise instructions that apply to you.

itchy skin, irritated skin, redness, and a burning sensation on the affected area.
Seek medical attention if these side effects persist, worsen or become unbearable.

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of the following serious side effects:
swelling, oozing or the appearance of blisters on the area where you applied this ointment.

Consult your doctor if you've had a history of athlete's foot on the bottom or side of your foot in the past before taking Generic Mentax.

Do not take more than your recommended dosage. Take missed doses as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for your next treatment.

Keep Generic Mentax in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture. Dispose of any unused medication past the point of expiry. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
