Testosterone Gel

Testosterone Gel is an androgenic hormone used to treat hypogonadism, or abnormally low levels of testosterone.

Low testosterone levels is thought to be relatively common in male populations, but often undiagnosed due to failure to recognize symptoms, or embarrassment in discussing them.

Causes of reduced testosterone are widely varied and may include multiple factors. In some cases the cause can be identified and cured; in others testosterone replacement will be needed long-term. Either way, Testosterone Gel can help boost levels of the hormone to normal ranges.

The recommended daily dose is 5 g of gel (ie 50 mg of testosterone). The drug is used 1 time / day at about the same time of day, preferably in the morning. The daily dose may be adjusted depending on the clinical and laboratory parameters, but should not exceed 10 g of gel. Correction mode should be performed in steps of 2.5 g of gel / day.

For correction of the dose necessary to determine the concentration of testosterone in serum in the morning before application of the drug from the third day after treatment (within one week). The dose may be reduced if the content of testosterone in plasma increased or conversely increase when the concentration of low testosterone.

The gel is applied to clean, dry, intact skin shoulders, arms and / or abdomen. Do not apply the gel to the genital area, because high content of ethanol in the formulation may cause local irritation.

Because this product is designed to be easily absorbed into the skin, even brief, accidental contact with residual traces can effect them. Of most concern are young children and pregnant women, as testosterone can be extremely disruptive to still-developing bodies.

In adult women who aren't pregnant, contact may still cause unpleasant side effects such as a deepening voice or facial hair. It's critical that extreme care be taken to avoid accidental contact with all members of the household.

After opening the bag should be immediately put on your skin and all of its contents spread a thin layer. Not necessarily rub it into the skin. Can be allowed to dry for at least 3-5 minutes before dressing. After applying should wash their hands with soap and water.
